In the small community of , many children wake up every day dreaming of going to school but often, they lack the basic supplies to make that possible. For the 2025–2026 school year, The Khaldun Foundation joined hands with Nouvelle Génération Inyishu to help these children take a step closer to their dreams.

With kits of notebooks and pens, children who might have stayed home could now enter their classrooms ready to learn. The joy on their faces as they received their school supplies was unforgettable. One young student said, “Now I can write and learn like the older kids. I feel happy and ready for school.”

Education is not just about books. During our visits, we spoke with students about the importance of staying committed to learning, while also meeting with parents to share advice on building financial stability and creating a brighter future for their families.

Every pen, every notebook, and every moment spent encouraging these children is part of a bigger mission: giving them the tools and hope they need to reach their potential.

At The Khaldun Foundation and Nouvelle Génération Inyishu, we believe in a simple truth: every child deserves a chance at a better future. Together, we are planting seeds of opportunity, one school kit at a time.
